Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to the MCRPD programme, candidates shall hold a Bachelor’s degree of this University or an equivalent qualification. Preference will be given to graduates from healthcare-related programmes.

For applicant with qualification obtained outside Hong Kong, where the language of teaching and/or examination is not English, should obtain ONE of the following examination results to fulfill the English language requirements:

- A score of 85 or above for tests taken before January 21, 2026.
- A score of 4.5 or above for tests taken from January 21, 2026 onwards

IELTS*

6.5 (Overall score）
5.5 (All sub-score)

*For September 2027 intake, IELTS and TOEFL tests must be taken on or after September 1, 2025.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • When will the application information be available?

Please note that application information for admission to Master of Clinical Research and Product Development (MCRPD) programme will usually be available from October onwards every year.

  • How can I submit my application?

You can apply for our taught postgraduate programmes via the online application system by clicking the "Apply Now" button in the Admission page. If you cannot click the button, that means application is not open yet.

 

  • Can I apply for admission if i am still in my last year of study?

You do not need to have graduated from your bachelor's degree programme at the time of application. However, you must obtain a bachelor's degree on or before August 31 of your admission year.

 

  • I cannot upload my documents on the online application system. What should I do?

Please note that you can only upload your supporting documents before the application deadline or within four weeks of your account creation. If the uploading period has expired, or the file size is too large, you can contact the programme office for advice.
